When sending a parcel to Ireland, do customs charges apply?

Unfortunately, when sending a parcel to Ireland, we have no control over charges which customer services of Ireland wish to charge the parcel . If any charges are imposed on the parcel to Ireland, the parcel recipient will be contacted and charged by customs. 
 
It is important to remember that if you fail to pay for the parcel, then it will result in the parcel being held, returned or even destroyed. If we receive any duty or VAT charges billed to their account for these parcels will in turn be billed to you, the sender of the parcel to Ireland, with a 10% admin charge added (minimum £10.00 VAT).

What declaration for customs do I make?

When sending a parcel to Ireland, if you fail to declare any contents or under declare the value, it may lead to the parcel being refused by Irish customs. If the parcel has any restricted or prohibited items it will also be held by customs. 

If your parcel has been refused by customs it may be held, returned or even destroyed. 

Will unaccompanied baggage cost me?

Not when sending a parcel to Ireland. In some rare cases, packages which are deemed unaccompanied baggage and that are going to Australia and New Zealand may incur customs clearance charges of around $150.
